Turn a Dial and Choose Again
If we are experiencing static, discomfort and chaos in our world, it is possible that we are being asked to consider a change in our perception or behaviour. Sometimes we have to consider shifting through the static energy so that we can experience a new energy vibration. Like turning the dial on a radio, we can choose a new program. In order to move from one signal or channel to the next, we move over a space of static. When we are faced with static in this life experience, it is possible that we are on the edge of great change. What would we choose now in this place of discomfort as we experience the static? Would we like to move back to the known space or would we consider moving into a potentially new space?
Imagine if, like turning a dial on a radio to change programs, we all chose to switch the life program we are experiencing to one that serves us all and gives us the potential to THRIVE.
Some of you may be in the same age bracket as me, (more or less) and we will know this if you remember LM radio broadcasting into our radios in the early 1960s from Lourenço Marques, now Maputo, Mozambique. (AGGH! that sounds SO far back!)
I remember being a young pre-teenager and watching my very cool older cousins doing the fashionable dancing of the time to the barely audible Beatles music played on LM radio. They would twist and turn in groovy movements, right next to the radio as they constantly needed to retune the radio station with the dial so that they could find a better connection and a better signal.
It was ridiculous! A short spurt of
"...all you need is lov..e...e * ^ + * (crackle, crackle, static, distortion)...* + ^ ... love is all you * ^ + ^ * (more crackle, crackle, static, distortion).
South Africa, at that time, only had a limited radio selection for young listeners and no television at all. The only way to get a glimpse of the world beyond was from the distant airwaves from our neighbouring country. These eager young people were awakening to the possibility of something else; another world of Being.
Like turning a radio dial, we can tune into the possibility of something else.
