Imagine being in a play, in costume and fully immersed in the performance. Then as you leave the stage it might be enticing to linger in the attire and perhaps the accent for a while. But when the dressing room door closes we are left with our self. Time to change into the person we present to our everyday life. We might ask our self - Who is this person? Like the actor on the stage we all have to make transitions between aspects of our life. Some of these shifts go almost unnoticed; barley causing a bump in the road of our experiencing. But some, oh my word, collide into our Being causing us to stop and pay attention, whether we wish to or not. These stopping points are the great markers in our life journey; the deep resting points that capture our attention and offer an opportunity of insight that will impact upon the rest of the journey. We come into transitional moments when a shift of awareness or an awakening beckons us. These can be in our relationships, work spaces, life circumstances, health or sense of well-being. THE SENSE THAT MAKES NO SENSE. We may ask – Why is this affecting me so drastically when others around me seem unperturbed? Why do I have this deep sense of foreboding, sense of doom, fear, sadness, heartache, longing, dread or anger? Why is it that I just cannot shake this off, even when I know that it makes no sense? SIDE EFFECTS OF TENSE TRANSITIONS: Restless, irritable, unable to sleep well, irrational fears, morbidity, weight loss or gain, hair loss, skin agitations, body pains, fatigue … and so the list goes on. NOT HELPFUL "You are not the same. What happened to the person I used to love/like. That’s not like you. Call me when you are normal again. I cannot deal with you when you are like this. You had better change your attitude or … Get over yourself. Life does not revolve around you!" While these statements are absolutely not helpful, they are nudges to help us recognise that we are in a transitional space. We are NOT the same and we never will be. Thank goodness! We are evolving, emerging, awakening and growing. Transitional spaces are the exact places we are meant to be in our journey towards fulfilment. As uncomfortable as they may be, these stopping points give us the opportunity to reflect upon the issues we can release – and in so doing find a greater sense of peace, clarity, well-being and alignment in this Life Journey. When one person agrees to become well, (awakened, aligned, or connected), the ripple-effect into the lives of all those with whom your share this journey can be seen. It is possible for us to heal our emotional baggage in a gentle, affirming and relaxing manner. We open the door for miracles as we begin to create a life that is more attuned to thriving rather than just surviving. Experiencing this shift is the greatest gift you can give your Being and those you Love.
