If you can feel it - YOU can heal it
For the longest time, we have been pressing our feelings into the dark, concealed cupboards in this human memory-sensory being. As we hurry through each day, we collide in countless ways, some of these rough connections we acknowledge and possibly retaliate in some way, like throwing a certain finger sign to the person who cuts you off while driving; but most of the irritation signals are not registered with an action. They go ‘underground’, dropping into that place where we feel an underlying sense of un-ease.
We may assume we are managing well until we have just one more nudge of a similar feeling, and suddenly we find ourself in a frothing rage. Like pebbles being dropped into a bottle, we reach full, (and possible explosion point), when just one more tiny incident erupts the rage that has been accumulating.
This mind-body was not intended to be a storage unit of unresolved emotions, and by suppressing the rage and the feelings, we create a pain mind-body that is full of signals of our discomfort and unresolved rage.
Learning how to feel the space of pain from a different perspective allows us to bring the light of clarity and healing to that signal of pain.
